10 K FARM

80 Acres Farms 10K facility is in Hamilton Ohio’s industrial park.  This project is phase one of a multi-phase master plan. The focus of the project was the creation of an automation proving ground capable of producing sellable produce in the Southwest Ohio market.
Space was limited in the prototype facility and therefore required creative space planning solutions. The growing environment was constructed using modular units stacked vertically.  This organization provided an optimal layout for robotics to automate the growing process.  
 

By staying flexible throughout the planning and construction process Open Architecture played a key role to deliver a cutting-edge controlled environment agriculture (CE) space. Open Architecture provided architectural design and construction management all as part of our overall program management for the Client.
